SLICE & DICERS
Sierra Valley Chamber of Commerce is a staunch supporter of the Tour De Manure for many years and would like to thank the Sierraville Fire Dept., in having us host this year’s aid & food station in Loyalton once again. The Chamber prepared a steady supply of beverage, and a multitude of snacking items for the participants/bicyclist. Those involved in slicing & dicing were Wendy Bergstrom, one of our newest members, as were our old school slice & dicers, Bobby Wheeler, Bonnie Jessee, John Edwards, Gus Donowho, with the assistance of Cathy Perry and Mike Warrell of Reno. Representing the Sierraville Fire Dept. in Loyalton, one who continues to soldier through this was Richard Maddalena. The Chamber has been hosting this event in Loyalton for years. It was a fun day expressed by the riders to the chamber volunteers as they mounted up and headed in one direction or another. We wish to extend our congratulations to the team of Tour De Manure for this event and to their volunteers who make this happen, and a lot of kudos to those hearty participants/bicyclists who attended. Every event in Sierra Valley, Sierra County Ca sponsored independently or by the SVCC brings notoriety to our area and tourism.
