Lake Davis Trail Workday
Event Type(s): Member Event Description: We are working together with the Plumas National Forest to build approx 1.7 more miles to the already awesome Lake Davis Trail. Lake Davis sits at approximately 6,000’ elevation and is located where the Sierra Nevada, Cascade and Great Basin all come together for one big geographical party. The already built Phase 1 is located primarily on abandoned dirt roads and away from the lake shore. Most of the existing trail can be accessed right from the campgrounds located on the North side of the Lake. Lake Davis is a beautiful family friendly lake with lots of wildlife, fishing, very nice campgrounds, and trails with peaceful views of the lake all along it. 09-19-15 : 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM Pacific Lightning Tree Boat Ramp Lake Davis, CA 96122 Contact Person: Tara Stone (phone: 5305452580) Details: Meeting Time 9am Meeting Place Lightning Tree Boat Ramp Trail Work Plan 9am - 2 pm Finish work and trail clean up Hike round trip is approx 4 miles What to bring sturdy work pants gloves water sturdy/close toed shoes eye protection sunscreen After work party includes lunch provided by Longboards Bar and Grill (link is external)and libations from The Brewing Lair (link is external).
