Matt Axton and Bad Moon will entertain at Summerfest 2024
The countdown has begun. It’s just a few weeks before this popular non-profit fundraiser kicks off in Clio, CA. It’s always on the last Sunday in June so this year that puts it on the 30th. As usual this outdoor event will feature a ranch barbecue, two auctions, open house tours and top notch entertainment. This year some important new features will also be available to attendees. The Lost Sierra Wine Co. will offer a wine tasting. Root beer floats will be available. Free pre-dinner appetizers will be offered and there will be interpretive signs put up on the adjacent nature trails.
Gates open at 3 pm at 2200 Highway 89 at the entrance to the Mohawk Valley. The historic ranch house is nearing complete restoration and will be available for house tours from 3 to 4 pm. The famous Clio Stove is on prominent display in the living room.
The food will be provided by Clarky’s BBQ Smoke and More. The famous Porta-Saloon will offer beer and the beverage tent will dispense wine and margaritas. Free bottled water will also be available. The entertainment starts at 4pm and features Matt Axton and Bad Moon. Matt’s five-piece band will include his Mom, Donna Axton, on keyboard.
Patrons should bring a lawn chair but leave the pets at home.
The price of admission as of June 1 is $70 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under. Tickets are available online at www.WhiteSulphurSpringsRanch.com and at Millie’s Ice Cream and Coffee Company in downtown Graeagle. Over half of the available tickets have already been sold so interested parties should get theirs as soon as possible.
