ROTARY CLUB OF LOYALTON held its annual Lamb Barbecue Thursday, August 17th at the Rotary Picnic Grounds up Smithneck Creek. The tasty butterflied leg of lamb was prepared by Chef Travis of the Golden West.
Former Rotary Club of Loyalton members, Gail “Virus” Ellingwood and Dan “X-Man” Greenway of Smith Valley, Nevada and Marie “Hi Ho” Silver of Hagerman, Idaho were all there to enjoy the evening.
Serving those yummy specialty beans was Dick DeVore of Sierra Brooks, assisted by his daughter who
attended from southern California.
President Steamer called her, “A real trouper,” and stated, “We are lucky to have such an accomplished young woman.”
ROTARY CLUB OF LOYALTON now meets every first and third Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. at Golden West Dining.
It’s a great opportunity to meet Viktoria and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by Chef Travis.
