Plumas NF CA off-highway law enforcement grant review

Quincy, CA- March 5, 2019- The Plumas National Forest (PNF), Law Enforcement Office is seeking public comment on their proposal for the 2019/2020, California Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV), grant program.  The grant would provide for signage, public education, safety program, special off-highway event support, and patrol operations for trails and facilities associated with the PNF OHV / Over-snow Vehicle (OSV) recreation program.
People may provide feedback & comment on the grant proposal posted on the Department of State Parks website March 5, 2019 through May 6, 2019.  To review the grant application, go to:  http://www.parks.ca.gov and click on the OHV link (top right of page) to review and comment on the preliminary applications.  Final applications are due to the State of California on June 3, 2019.
Written comments and requests for more information may be directed to: Plumas National Forest, Attn:  Patrol Captain Michelle Barrios, 159 Lawrence Street, Quincy, CA  95971, by close of business on May 6, 2019.
