Candidates for Portola City Council, Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District - Trustee Areas 2 and 4, and Plumas Unified School District - Trustee Area 5 will meet the public in a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Plumas County on Tuesday October 4th from 7-9pm at the Portola Veterans Memorial Hall (449 W Sierra Ave, Portola). All candidates are running for a 4-year term.
The candidates for Portola City Council are:

The candidates for Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District - Trustee Area 2 are:
Adrienne Anila - Sierraville
Annie Tipton - Sierraville
The candidates for Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District - Trustee Area 4 are:
Kelly Champion - Loyalton
Jesse Whitley - Loyalton
The candidates for Plumas Unified School District - Trustee Area 5 are:
Leslie Edlund – Quincy (Incumbent)
Coby Hakalir - Blairsden
Each candidate will have 2 minutes for opening comments and to introduce themselves. The public will have an opportunity to submit written questions for all candidates on the evening of the event. After candidates have an opportunity to answer the questions, each candidate will have 2 minutes for closing comments.
