LOYALTON ROTARY'S COMMUNITY CLEAN UP was a big success by all the truckloads of green waste taken to the dump on Saturday, September 2nd. Rotarians met at The Corner Cafe before going to work all along Main Street. Trees and bushes were trimmed, gutters cleaned and sidewalks swept. The steady rainfall the night before provided enough moisture to make the weed pulling much easier. Youngest helper was Adella Folchi, age 2. Special thanks to former Rotarian Phyllis and Assistant Fire Chief Robert DeMartini who had just flown in the night before from vacation.
It’s a big improvement and thanks to all those who turned out and we hope to see more work on September 16th, meeting at The Corner Cafe at 8:30 a.m. Keep the Community Pride going!
