Loyalton High School had an exciting Saturday due to football, cheer, and senior night! On 10/22 the Loyalton Football team played their last home game of the season against Tukelake, pulling out a very close win in an unforgettable game. Loyalton beat Tulelake 27-24, with Tulelake scoring the first points but the Grizzlies came back in the third quarter to take one last victory on their home field. The Homecoming Court was commemorated at the game because the previous Homecoming game was canceled earlier in September, cheer performed their halftime dance, while the Queen and Princess candidates got to enjoy a short crowning before the game. During halftime Seniors Adam Smeltzer and Case Emsoff were celebrated for their four years of football, and Seniors Alexandria Siquedio and Alexxis Gunier for their four years of cheer during senior recognition. An all-around memorable day of football was played and enjoyed to end the season before the football team moves into their playoffs on November 3rd. 7
