JOE DINES received the annual Richard Meder Community Service Award from Loyalton Mayor Darlene Riede at the May 21st City Council meeting for his volunteer service for the City. He then volunteered to serve on the new Oversight Committee for water infrastructure funding.
Certificates of Appreciation will be awarded Wendy Bergstrom and to Jake Marsh, called the “favorite man in town,” by Mayor Riede, for their contributions to the City.

CITY OF LOYALTON approved  Business Licenses for Jacob Wheeler of Super Shine Mobile Detailing, Monica Howard for homemade crafts and Greg R. Albright of Freedom Forever Residential Solar Installment at its May 21st regular meeting.

REPAIR on the Loyalton Van Daam water leak was to have started two Mondays ago. At the May 21st City Council meeting it was stated they now need a NEPA environmental report. Immediately Council member Sue McIlravy stated they did an environmental report for the Van Daam project and brought it up on her phone.  As of Wednesday morning, the report was sent to the contractor and we hope the long-awaited project moves forward.
