SIERRA COUNTY SHERIFF’S
OFFICE served a felony arrest and search warrant at 203 Patterson Avenue in Loyalton on August 3, 2018.
Richard “Bubba” Price, 28, was arrested and charged for lewd and lascivious acts on a minor, possession of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia
During the service of the warrant several violations of City of Loyalton Municipal Codes were observed. There is an illegally occupied travel trailer on the property along with several dismantled vehicles and motorcycles. Additionally, according to Sgt. Mike Fisher, “I observed numerous auto parts strewn around the front and backyard. While in the backyard I saw a power cord that was plugged into the residence and ran across the yard to the neighbors house.
“I know from previous investigations the residence located at 204 Granite Street (directly behind 203 Patterson) doesn’t have power service. Based on the electrical cord, I believe the persons living at 204 Granite are powering their home with electricity derived from 203 Patterson Ave.
“After observing these violations, I contacted City of Loyalton Council member Joy Markum who came to 203 Patterson Avenue. I showed Council Member Markum the violations I observed. I then photographed the property and above noted violations."
