The weekly State Contracted COVID19 Testing with Verily/Project Baseline is going through an operational transition. In order to keep this testing happening in Sierra County, the sub-contractor Advanced Clinical needs local people to fill positions at testing sites in Calpine and Loyalton. See attached description. Downieville Volunteer Fire Staff have already stepped up and enrolled with Advanced Clinical in order to support the Downieville Testing. Personnel are still needed for the Calpine and Loyalton Sites.
Staff is needed as early as next week. Further details on the opens:
The pay range is $25-27/hour but I generally always do $27/hour for the rural sites because the HCPs usually have to commute in unfavorable conditions. Generally the hours will be 5 hour shifts which includes set up and break down. We offer mileage reimbursement for anything over 40 miles from their home to the workplace up to $200/month. If someone is local and does not meet the mileage criteria they can use this stipend for lunch and/or breakfast onsite.
