Snowmobile Accident Rescue
This afternoon, we received a 911 call about a snowmobile accident in the Lakes Basin area south of Graeagle. The victim had major injuries. Plumas County Search and Rescue, Graeagle Fire Department, Eastern Plumas Ambulance, REMSA Health Careflight , and CHP - Northern Division Air Operations responded. The victim was airlifted via Careflight to an out-of-area medical center. Great job to all the responders involved. Thank you for your swift action and dedication.
