LAURA SCRIBNER CHANDLER was a lifelong Loyalton resident who had a rich family history. Musical, she played in a grade school band and served as pianist for Loyalton Community Church many years. She was a pleasant and trusted bank teller at the former Bank of America in downtown.  She and husband, Cecil, raised five girls in Loyalton, Vivian, Dana, twins Janet and Janice and Marianne, the sole survivor who continues to live in Loyalton.
