Mets, but he didn't sign.
AMONG THEIR FANS is Chris Lonergan, formerly of Loyalton, who writes, “Cy and Zeb Sneed, sons of Bob Sneed and grandkids of John and Brenda Sneed of Chilcoot, are doing extremely well in their professional baseball careers. Cy just got promoted to triple A Fresno Grizzlies, the top minor league team for the Houston Astros. Cy pitched last night in Reno and had an outstanding game in front of lots of family and friends who came out to see Cy pitch against the Aces.
“Cy pitched 7 innings and got the win, which was super nice with all the people there to see him.
“Zeb is one of the top pitchers on the River City Rascals, a professional baseball club in the independant league.
“To make a pro team and being able to pitch professionally is no easy task, as both brothers have superb work ethic instilled in them at a very young age, and along with their God-given talent, don't be surprised if you see one or both brothers pitching in the major leagues someday!
“It has been a super exciting ride the last few years with the brothers in their pro careers, and a very special thing to witness.
“A lot goes into being a pro ball player, and to have a local connection to this road to the big leagues is a very exciting thing to follow and be a part of.
“Keep up the hard work and stay focused and great things are going to happen.”
