PORTOLA, California — Santa Trains are coming to town Saturday, December 2 and Fridays and Saturdays on December 8-9 and 15-16 at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum.
The Feather River Rail Society invites everyone to “climb aboard” the Santa Trains. This event features a festive holiday train covered in lights, free homemade cookies, hot chocolate, apple cider and coffee, special exhibits and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The museum opens at 4pm with train rides starting at 5pm and continuing until everyone has a turn – usually about 9pm. Admission for Santa Trains is $10 per carload, or $5 with the donation of 3 non-perishable canned goods for EPCAN - Portola’s Food Bank.
