There may be tickets still available at the door for the Friday and Saturday evening shows, but pre-purchase guarantees you a seat for this fantastic show.
The Sierra Valley Grange is a non-profit, Family centered fraternal organization dedicated to supporting Agriculture and the needs of our rural community. We have been serving the Sierra Valley for 92 years. Proceeds from this event are used to meet the yearly costs and maintenance of our building.
This year we will welcome back on our stage America’s Western Sweetheart, Belinda Gail, Academy of Western Artists 3-Time Female Vocalist of the Year, Western Music Assoc. 7-time Female Performer of the Year. A long-time favorite, she was raised on ranches in Nevada’s Carson Valley and the Sierra Nevada foot hills. Belinda’s ranching heritage and love of the West runs deep in the fabric of who she is as a person, her music and as a performer. She has performed throughout the US, Canada and Europe.
Dennis Golden, a range poet and story teller, was raised in the small Surprise Valley ranching community of Cedarville, CA in the 40’s and 50’s. Dennis spent his youth working on Northern California and Nevada ranches where he was introduced to cowboy poetry. Over the years, Dennis has performed in Elko and other venues across the West. Dennis is also a Master Dutch Oven chef and was a regular on PBS “Outdoor Nevada” for 7 years running. We know you will enjoy his poetry, banter and harmonica riffs.
New to our stage is Singer Song Writer John Flournoy. John hails from Northern California where his family has been ranching for 150 years. After a stint in the Army where he trained cadets to fly for several years, he came back home to his Modoc roots where he got to work raising kids and cattle. Along the way, he played music with sidekicks in Northern California, developing a unique style of cowboy songs with some humor thrown in. Prepare for some hilarious side splitting songs you’ve never heard before.
Please consider supporting the Grange and we hope you enjoy the show!
