RESCUE – On April 9th, a report was of an injured mountain biker on the Pauley Creek Trail just northeast of Downieville. Personnel from the Downieville Fire Department, Camptonville Fire Department, Sierra County Sheriff’s Deputies and Search and Rescue located the subject and carried them out to an awaiting ambulance at the Empire Ranch Trailhead. The patient was ultimately transported by air ambulance to a hospital.
