CRIMINAL CASE UPDATE APRIL – JUNE 2024
People v. Carmella Marie Bonomolo (24CR0010)
On April 9, 2024, Carmella Marie Bonomolo was convicted of violating Health and Safety Code section 11377(a) (possession of a controlled substance) and Health and Safety Code section 11550(a) (being under the influence of a controlled substance), misdemeanors. She was placed on 1 year probation and ordered to pay a fine of $235 and ordered to complete 20 hours of community service.
People v. Ronald Allen Severin, Jr. (23CR0116)
On April 9, 2024, Ronald Allen Severin, Jr. was convicted of violating Health and Safety Code section 11377(a) (possession of a controlled substance) and Health and Safety Code section 11364(a) (possession of drug paraphernalia), both misdemeanors. He was sentenced to 38 days in jail, placed on 1 year of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $470.00.
People v. Yvonne Marie Dahl (23CR00050A)
On April 9, 2024, Yvonne Marie Dahl was convicted of violating Vehicle Code section 23152(f) (driving under the influence of a drug). She was sentenced to 16 days jail, placed on 3 years probation, ordered to take a DUI class and a Victim Impact Panel and to pay a fine of $1,856.

On April 23, 2024 Brandie Michelle Purvis was convicted of violating Penal Code section 368 (theft from an elderly person) and Penal Code section 530.5 (identity theft). She was placed on two years formal probation and ordered to pay restitution of $2,500.

On April 23, 2024, Heather Denae Graham Williams was convicted of violating Vehicle Code section 23103/23103.5 (wet reckless). She was placed on 3 years probation, ordered to take a DUI class and a Victim Impact Panel and to pay a fine of $2,185.
People v. Michael David Brooks (23CR0110)
On May 7, 2024 Michael David Brooks was convicted of violating Penal Code section 459.5, shoplifting. He was placed on 1 year probation, ordered to make restitution of $5.98 to Leonards and to stay away from Leonards in Loyalton.
People v. Ulyses RubioMartinez (23CR0100)
On May 7, 2024, Ulyses RubioMartinez was convicted of violating Vehicle Code section 664/23152 (attempted DUI) and Penal Code section 148 (resisting a peace officer). He was sentenced to 3 months in jail.
People v. Grant E. Phebus and Aimee R Phebus (230112-A and B)
On May 21, 2024 Grant E. Phebus was convicted of violating Penal Code section 25100(a), a felony (criminal storage of a firearm). He was placed on 2 years formal probation, complete 250 hours of community service, complete a hunter safety course, with restitution to the victim reserved. On May 21, 2024 Aimee R. Phebus was convicted of violating Penal Code section 25100(a) a misdemeanor (criminal storage of a firearm). She was placed on 1 year formal probation, complete 150 hours of community service, take a hunter safety course, with restitution to the victim reserved.

On June 11, 2024 Christian Lewis Bachman was convicted of violating Vehicle Code section 23152(b) driving under the influence with one prior. He was placed on 3 years probation, ordered to take a DUI Class, participate in a Victim Impact Panel, and pay a fine of $1,866.

On June 11, 2024 Shaun Michael Fowler was convicted of violating Penal Code section 1203.2, violating the terms of his probation. He was sentenced to 180 days custody (home detention).
People v. Emma Blanche Shaffer (24CR0001)
On June 25, 2024, Emma Blanche Shaffer was convicted of violating Penal Code section 261.5 (unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor) and Penal Code section 118(a) (perjury). She will be sentenced on August 8, 2024.
People v. Patrick Adam Davis (22CR0025)
On June 25, 2024 Patrick Adam Davis was set for sentencing following his conviction of violating Penal Code section 459 (first degree burglary). Sentencing was continued to August 20, 2024. Mr. Davis was taken into custody pending formal sentencing.
People v. Reynaldo Saldana (23CR0107)
On June 27, 2024, Reynoldo Saldana was convicted of violating Vehicle Code section 23152(b) (driving under the influence). He was sentenced to 3 years probation, ordered to spend 2 days in jail, pay a fine of $1,856, take a DUI class and participate in a Victim Impact Panel.
