Plumas County neighbors – Join us for a day of fun, learning, and community connection! The Plumas County Fire Safe Council (PCFSC), in collaboration with the Plumas Children’s Council, is excited to host the Wildfire Preparedness & Children's Fair on May 17, 2025, at the Plumas County Fairgrounds.
This family-friendly event, happening from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., is all about helping families stay aware and prepared while having a great time. Fire professionals and local organizations will be on hand to provide important wildfire preparedness tips, family resources, and interactive activities that make learning about fire-adaptive communities engaging for all ages.
What to Expect:
  • Go-Bag Challenge – Can your family build the ultimate GO-BAG? Put your skills to the test.
  • Free Food – Grab a bite and connect with neighbors.
