Firefighters on the Beckwourth Ranger District successfully treated approximately 25 acres of pile burning west of Plumas Pines today.
Once again, fuels consumption and smoke dispersal were excellent, with no smoke impacts to nearby communities.
Additional rain was received over the unit today. There are no holding concerns and the unit is secure this afternoon.
Tomorrow, firefighters plan to continue ignitions on 25 acres, conditions permitting.
