For Immediate Release
Way back in the 60's, you could go to Disneyland and Kodak was kind enough to identify locations throughout the park where you could take the perfect picture. Of course, you could use Kodak film (for anyone under 30....you used to have something called film to record an image) and this service took the pressure off Dad from having to decide where would be a good place to snap a photo of junior. Nowadays, the pressure is off! Thanks to digital technology and a phone in every pocket, you can take dozens, even hundreds of pictures and this coming week, your best spot is the Plumas Sierra County Fair! With a theme of Mountains of Memories, we have supplied a fairground full of “Picture Spots”.
It all starts off with the exciting selfie museum. Kookie and amazing backgrounds will fool your friends into thinking you have won a medal at the upcoming Olympics, or you are facing off against Big Foot, or maybe even took off to the moon! Everyone can look like they have grown beautiful wings, or have swapped faces with the Mona Lisa.
Be sure to grab a shot of your mug in any one of dozens of custom frames decorated by local “frame artists” and then, if you really want to stretch your imagination, you can always take a picture of a loved one actually riding the Ferris Wheel, or standing in front of a Junior Livestock animal. Who needs Kodak?
Top it all off by posting your photos on Facebook or #PSCFairFace so the world can see you building Mountains of Memories at the Plumas Sierra County Fair this July 25-28!
