Missing Person Update – Bradley “Jay” Prestigiacomo (Pierson)

8/11/2025

As of August 11, 2025, Bradley “Jay” Prestigiacomo, also known as Bradley Pierson, remains missing.
Over the past several days, the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office has continued an extensive search effort with the assistance of Cal OES Search and Rescue, Nevada County Search and Rescue, Lassen County Search and Rescue, and Marin County Search and Rescue. These teams, along with local resources, have utilized search dogs, drones, and ground teams to cover challenging terrain in the area between Claremont Peak and Thompson Creek, where Bradley’s vehicle was located on August 5, 2025.
Moving forward, the search will continue with local resources. We urge anyone who may have seen Bradley or has any information—no matter how insignificant it may seem—to contact the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 283-6300.
We remain committed to locating Bradley and appreciate the dedication and support of our partner agencies, volunteers, and community members during this ongoing search.

Thank you,

Chandler Peay
