AAA Car Care Month tips give you the knowledge to avoid costly repairs

Of those calls, the majority of vehicles required towing, were experiencing battery issues, or flat tires. During Fall Car Care Month, AAA is urging drivers to keep up with their vehicle maintenance ahead of the busy winter driving season.

- Tire Rotations. Rotate your tires roughly every other oil change. This helps prevent uneven wear and is important for safety and longevity.
- Fluid Level Checks. Your car relies on various fluids to operate properly. Check your levels before long trips or every three months.
- Battery Testing. Have your battery tested ahead of long trips or every three months, especially in extreme temperatures.
- Multipoint Vehicle Inspection. Comprehensive check-ups are essential. Schedule a multipoint inspection at least once a year to catch potential problems early.
