Starting Sept. 29, flows on the Yuba River between New Bullards Bar Dam and New Colgate Powerhouse will increase from the typical 6-40 cubic feet per second to about 900 cfs. This will be a significant change in conditions for this stretch of the river - avoid recreating here during the increase or use extreme caution!
These flows will continue through February 2026, throughout our Colgate Tunnel and Penstock Improvement Project.
